I’m in the process of catching up on missed Treme episodes, so I decided to start back at episode 1. This show is packed with so many great moments, but to me the Indian Chiefs are such a wonderful aspect of New Orleans culture that I never heard about before, that this is the moment really stood out to me. I can’t believe that Terry Gross grilled David Simon on Fresh Air over his choice of actors for Treme: Clarke Peters really brings it here.
